Going East: Discovering New and Alternative Traditions in Translation (Studies)

The Center for Translation Studies at the University of Vienna is organizing a two-day symposium to be held on 12-13 December 2014 to bring together Eastern European traditions and scientific reflections on Translation (Studies).
The research groups "Translation and intercultural transfer" and "Cultural History since 1750" of the KU Leuven organise an international colloquium on "Cultural mediators in Europe 1750-1950", June 5-7 2014 in Leuven, Belgium.
The 19th European Symposium on Languages for Special Purposes (LSP2013) will be held at the Centre for Translation Studies of the University of Vienna, from 8th to 10th of July 2013, under the patronage of UNESCO. For those who are interested to attend, the registration deadline is 30 June.…
