New JoSTrans issue (37): January 2022
We are delighted to launch a special issue of JoSTrans on Communities of practice and translation guest-edited by Patrick Cadwell, Federico M. Federici and Sharon O’Brien
While communities of practice formed by translators and/or interpreters have recently attracted growing interest from TIS scholars, this issue offers new and original perspectives on the topic by focusing on individuals who were not trained as translators or interpreters and are engaged in translation and interpreting in various under-researched settings.
CFP: The Journal of Specialised Translation, non-thematic issue, Issue 34, July 2020
· Issue 34 (July 2020): submissions will be accepted between April 1, 2019 until June 30, 2019, with a decision on acceptance / rejection by the end of December 2019.
