CALL TO HOST ARTIS COLLABORATIVE EVENTS

New deadline for proposals: 31 July 2018

ARTIS (Advancing Research in Translation and Interpreting Studies) is inviting proposals for the hosting and organisation of events.

The 3rd IATIS International Translator Training Workshop took place on March 7, 2018 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was organised by the Faculty of Education and Humanities at Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) in cooperation with the International Association for Translation and International Studies (IATIS), and the Association of Translators in Kazakhstan, Kazakh National University and Hamburg University. A number of local and international presenters provided contributions while the professional workshop was attended by scholars and practitioners from a variety of universities across Kazakhstan such as Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Taraz amd Aktubinsk.
