Tenure-Track Professorship for the field of Translation-oriented Terminology Science and Translation Technologies
University of Vienna offers an academic tenure-track professorship position. Within two years' time, the University will offer a qualification agreement if the academic performance suggests that the required high qualification can be reached. With the conclusion of the qualification agreement, the employee will be allocated to the group of "Assistant Professors". If the qualification is achieved according to the agreement, employment, which originally has a six-year duration, will be continued for an indefinite period as an "Associate Professor".

Teaching Associate in Spanish and Translation Studies

The role holder will be responsible for teaching, supervising, marking and carrying out associated administrative duties on relevant undergraduate and taught programmes in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures, predominantly in the area of Spanish and Translation studies.
Applicants should hold a PhD (or near completion by the time the post begins), or equivalent qualification, in a relevant field and be a native or near-native speaker of Spanish. The ability to teach interpreting would be an advantage.
This position is offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis from 1 September 2018 until 30 June 2019. Job share arrangements may be considered.
