Early Career Researcher in Legal Translation Studies University of London - School of Advanced Study The Role The Institute of Modern Languages Research (IMLR) and the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) are seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Early Career Researcher for one year in the first instance. The Early Career Researcher in Legal Translation Studies will take a leading role in the development of a series of new collaborative projects exploring the intersections between languages and legal studies. Central to these projects is the promotion and facilitation of research on law and language, teaching, and outreach initiatives nationally and internationally. The post-holder will have a good research record and willingness to facilitate the research of others by organising conferences or producing edited books, preferably with experience of teaching in the wider field of translation. You will be expected to actively identify and prepare research grant applications and to develop teaching and training initiatives in collaboration with colleagues in the two institutes. To be considered for this role you must have experience of academic research in Translation Studies, excellent translation skills along with experience of working with digital technologies.
