IATIS 8 Bursaries and Solidarity Fund

For the 8th IATIS Conference, IATIS and the Organizing Committee are joining their efforts to offer 6 Full Bursaries and 6 Solidarity Funds.

IATIS Organization:

-Three Full Bursaries: covers visa, flight, accommodation, IATIS membership, registration fees, and meals during the conference.

-Three Solidarity Funds: covers the registration fees only

IATIS 8- Oman:

-Three Full Bursaries: covers visa, flight, accommodation, IATIS membership, registration fees, and meals during the conference.

-Three Solidarity Funds: covers the registration fees only.

Deadline: 15 July 2025
Results: 30 August 2025

Eligibility:
1. The scheme is only for delegates whose paper abstract (whether part of a panel or not) has been accepted by the Scientific Committee or Conference Advisory Board (see below for further eligibility conditions).
2. Only delegates from Band 3 and 4 countries may apply for the full bursaries.
3. The awardee needs to be allowed entry into Oman. For general entry restrictions and authorizations, please consult the https://evisa.rop.gov.om/
4. Only one member of the same family will be eligible to receive the bursary fund.
5. The solidarity fund is open for PhD students from all bands as well as delegates from Band 3 and 4 countries.

How to apply
Please prepare the following information which you will be asked to upload in one single document:
• CV
• Abstract of presentation
• Acceptance letter from the conference organizers
• Covering letter with details of career, future intentions
• Copy of valid (6 months minimum) passport

Candidates will automatically be considered for any of the two schemes they qualify for, as per the information submitted.
