Job Description
The Department of Languages, Linguistics and Translation wishes to fill a professorship in interpretation.
More specifically, the applicant will be required to perform the following duties:
Director of the 2nd cycle microprogramme in interpreting.
Teaching interpretation at the undergraduate and graduate levels, from English to French and from French to English. Teaching related disciplinary content (specialized translation, terminology, translation studies or post-editing).
Supervision of graduate students and direction of essays, dissertations and theses.
Research in the field of interpretation.
Participation in the operation of translation, terminology and interpreting programs.
Participation in departmental, faculty and university activities.
