1- Books may be nominated by the author, editor or publisher, as applicable to each prize; in every case the publisher completes the nomination form. Each press may nominate up to six books per prize.

2- Books with a copyright date of 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible for the 2027 competition. A book may be nominated for only one prize.

3- Once a completed form is received, the nominator is sent the addresses of the committee members, to whom a copy of each nominated book (print copies preferred) must be sent.

4- Up to five books are shortlisted in each category, and the committee may name up to two honourable mentions alongside each winner.

Please note that authors and editors must hold IATIS membership at the time of shortlisting. There are no residence or nationality requirements.
