The Department of Media, Communication and Culture (MCC) of International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan, invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position in Interpreting and Translation (I/T) Studies.
The successful candidate will have a strong grounding in the theory and practice of Japanese translation, for both traditional prose and other media, and will teach general education, foundation and area major courses as well as graduate courses in translation studies. Expertise in related fields such as technology/science communication, translation in multilingual society, and others, are also desirable.
