Registration is now open for the International Online Workshop on Affective factors in Translation Process Research organized by Aston University on December 6th 2013.   Please remember that there will be no participation fee for the conference. Universidad Politécnica de Madrid is happy to offer the opportunity to participate in a "Metaphor in Engineering Workshop", including the translation of metaphor, to take place in London in July 2014. Participants should have proven research experience in metaphor studies and be willing to contribute their expertise in the workshop. 
We are happy to announce the PhD-Course in Translation Process Research (TPR) to take place at the Center for Research and Innovation in Translation and Translation Technology (CRITT) at Copenhagen Business School from August 5 to 8, 2013. Following the TPR summer school, on August 9 and 10, 2013, there will be an International Workshop on Speech and Gaze in Translation.

The Center for Research and Innovation in Translation and Translation Technology (CRITT) at CBS is offering the third international PhD course in Translation Process Research (TPR) from August 5 to 8, 2013. The course will focus on theoretical aspects of translation process research, on experimental research design and methodology, on data visualization and human translation modeling, and on qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
Organised by Imperial College London Date: July 2013   Languages: English into French, Italian, Polish, Spanish The course provides a theoretical framework for translators and researchers in the area of AVT as well as valuable hands-on training with audiovisual material taken from different authentic contexts. It includes 36 hours of intensive training and a tutorial.
