Proposals are also invited for a number of flash panels.

Flash panels consist of up to six ten-minute presentations, followed by a discussion of up to 30 minutes.

Sessions that prioritize cross-fertilization, interdisciplinarity, and research collaboration are especially welcome.

Within the broad remit of the conference, the following indicative list of topics would lend themselves in particular to flash panels:

• collaborative research projects
• profile of doctoral and post-doctoral research within a particular institution
• 'state-of-the-field' coverage

It is possible to submit a proposal for a flash panel before you have identified speakers, but proposals for flash panels for which up to six speakers have already been identified are particularly welcome.
