2009: IATIS is
pleased to announce the publication of the fourth issue of
New Voices in Translation
Studies. This Special Conference issue, guest-edited by
Dorothea Martens
(University College London), contains selected papers from the Postgraduate Conference 'With/out Theory: The Role of Theory in
Translation Studies Research' , held at University College London,
between 17-8 April 2008.

2009:
IATIS is pleased to announce that the draft program
for the
3rd Conference of the International Association for
Translation and Intercultural Studies (IATIS) has just
been published on the conference website. The conference
theme is Mediation and Conflict: Translation and Culture
in a Global Context, and with more than 250 papers and
presenters from some 37 countries, it promises to be a very
exciting and stimulating event indeed.

2009:
IATIS invites interested members to submit
proposals to host the 2012 IATIS Conference. Proposals
should be emailed to Dr. Dorothy Kenny, Chair of the IATIS Conference
