Expertise required:
We invite applications from senior scholars with a proven research record to join the School of Language and Communication Studies and to take a leading role in its continuing development. We are also looking for a successful record of PhD supervision and a proven ability to command research grant income. We are seeking candidates who specialise in intercultural communication and/or translation studies and have relevant research-led teaching experience in issues relating to cross-cultural communication and transfer. Teaching at all levels, as appropriate, and administration within the School are expected.
This full time, indefinite post is available from 1 September 2010.
