Who is it for? Translator trainers wishing to innovate in their training contexts, Translation Studies researchers, professionals and translation companies with an interest in translator training, part-time teachers who are keen to develop their teaching materials, educators wishing to share and reflect on innovations in the field.
Course Objectives:
* keep abreast of innovations in translator training worldwide
* understand how to improve your students' or employees' learning experience
* learn how to apply new methodologies to your own context
* discuss and share experiences
Course structure: Morning: Overview of recent trends in the field of translator training
Afternoon: Seminar on how to apply and blend new methods in translation training
Teaching language: English.
